Let's Move On And Throw Him Away

Spicy Saturday Picks!

Play this tune alongside to feel my sentimientos in this post:

Life's a pretty strict teacher when it behaves like an indefatigable bug and inundates you with a whole lot of problems and deadlocks to deal with. Yet, they pass. Often we talk about what happened and what shouldn't have but most of the time, in between those laments, we forget to plan the change ahead, to fight the shots life will shoot at us, right in our faces. Today, I am tearing one such name from here, of the person, who'll never ever be seen again, in the realm of my sentiments, here, in my place.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I close my eyes and I see
In the darkest pith of me
This world was once a novel
To be opened and read peacefully
But soon I realized as the time went by
With the whitish emptiness, those pages told a lie
About a time when everything will swish around
And darkness will mix with the bleeding moonlight
To give me a new soul and a new road to tread upon.

Opalescent beams of truth changed to colorless dawn
As pages flew by me; I kept falling into an abyss
Without a thunder or a thud, I came out of the dark
Into another world, another time where seemed no spark
A voice inside my head seemed to prove this as a dream
I searched for a novel-based world which was my tune
Suddenly the darkness mixed with the bleeding moonlight
And gave me a new name, a new path to follow straight on
This wasn't a dream; I open my eyes and stare down the valley
Where my past is stuck, too weak to reach me in my place.

Okay, Let me introduce to Leonardo (That's the man you see in the picture). That's him and he's all set for a new beginning with a new implosion of strength. He wishes to be with you and wants you all to be with him forever. Won't you sit with him in his open car?

"I exist because I changed."

~ Leo.

#You guessed it right, that one name to be removed from here is mine.

Open car reference taken from porcupine tree's song 'open car' and bleeding moonlight from 'lazarus',right?

Exactly. I absolutely love these two. :)

I would and if the novel can be re-written to include what we want, we must give it a try. Again a soul stirring writing from you Rachit!

Thanks a lot Saru! Loved your comment and by the way, it's written by Leonardo. Who's Rachit? ;)

Loved the poem you've written, reminds me of some amazing work on this blog earlier.

But, forgive me if I am being crass, I can't decide who is 'you', I've referred to here. Is it the person who has actually written this post or the alter ego who's name I read in comments.
Because I would really hate it, if the writer decides to leave his 'self', his own personality and have to don a different image to make a new beginning.
For me, the writer is Rachit.

I maybe very wrong in understanding this post, but this is what I thought. I apologize again if I said anything hurtful.
God bless. :)

Okay so this is an equivocal post!
I am not able to judge your true sentiments in this one..
You have changed your name too!
hmm..

but I liked your poetry.. Loved it rather!

"About a time when everything will swish around
And darkness will mix with the bleeding moonlight"

beautifully written!

But the mystery is still unsolved.. who are you Leo??

Saru Singhal said...

Sorry, Leo...I won't repeat the mistake;)

Leonardo said...

@Ruchi: Thank you so much. :)

@Ashna Banga: Rachit? Who's that guy? I don't of him, was he your friend? Would you like to be my friend? :)

@Bikramjit: Thank you so very much! :D

@Me: A very warm thanks! And yep, if I happen to see him around, I'll let him know you wanna listen from him. :)

@Usama: Why are you always right? Yes, the writer of this post is me, Rachit, but this is just another shot to crush the poignant, stinking and emotional past and move on, donning a changed name, a changed identity in my sentiments, which actually this blog is. :)

@Saloni: I'm just another man evolved from a man, with time and suffering.
Does that answer your question, Saloni Chaudhari? ;)

@Saru: You shouldn't! Or you might get castigated by Leo The Great! ;)

Ashna Banga said...

Duh! Yeah, he was very much my friend! And I want that one back :/

Usama said...

If it's just a shot at moving on, then Good Luck. But as irritating as it may sound, please don't end up taking refuge in a new identity for cleaning out the past. It's better done otherwise.
Ok, I think its a lot of gyan for one post so I am gonna stop.

Sentimental indeed!! Life is more complicated, containing more miseries and joys than the most complicated novel :-)

Leonardo said...

@Ashna: Call him! ;)

@Usama: Keep it coming. I need you to be there, forever. :)

@Giribala: Hey thanks! :D

I like your poems...this one is as usual good...but as others said, changing identity won't do...when u run away from something, it chases u more...

Leonardo said...

Thank you Priyaa! I agree with what others said, and to what you said. :)
