That's All She Wrote

Closing her eyes, she always went back to her reverie of Utopian world filled with perfect people in perfect places where she painted her own days, her own happiness and her own customized moments of life. She couldn't help but compare present with every other time she imagined which led to tears and wetting of her eyes which made them slightly shimmer.

Today she sat on her quilt with her cold dolls who weren't made to talk when she hoped they would. She closed her eyes and lay back her head to enter into her own delusional world. But this time it wasn't a tear that came out through those beautiful eyes; those eyes, they were dry today, they were feelingless and they wanted to see the reality.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is anybody here? Is anybody listening?
It's the end of the beginning
All alone I stand on the bridge of memories
Nobody out there want's to understand
Nobody out there takes me as I am
I can't say that I'm sad; I'm just desperate
For that one shower of blessing I plead
And as the wind swishes me around
I need to lay back down
Try to gather back some courage
For nobody saves someone who won't change

Sometimes I find an answer and sometimes I never know
What this life is all about and what I need to bestow
Somebody out there needs to understand
Somebody out there needs to take me as I am
For I'll last no longer in this crass world which is much stronger.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

She cried as she spilled some heavy words into her diary with hope that they'll eat away her pain. This is all she wrote.

somethings in your poem makes me feel connected. Till now I was never so interested in poems but from now I will.. No matter if I have to try hard. :)

**feelings**
that was the first thought when I was reading this. You've got a unique ability to put deep thoughts through your words...

Favorite lines:
"I need to lay back down
Try to gather back some courage
For nobody saves someone who won'r change" :)

Oye, where did my earlier comment go??
Anyways, I'll do it again.

I came here the day you posted but couldn't find the right words to comment. I still can't seem to have the right words.

This has been happening for some time now, maybe because I try to express myself in a way that would do justice to the wonderful posts you do. So this time I would just write the two lines which I really loved..
I can't say that I'm sad; I'm just desperate
and
For nobody saves someone who won't change

God bless.

You know it kinda resembles what I was trying to write in my poem Marooned, I Am.

Beautiful beyond words. Alas! we find beauty in pain...Ironic or sad, I can't decide...
