"Shadows fill an empty heart
As love is fading,
From all the things that we are
But are not saying.
Can we see beyond the scars
And make it to the dawn?"
As love is fading,
From all the things that we are
But are not saying.
Can we see beyond the scars
And make it to the dawn?"
You broke my heart. You betrayed me. You are such a player! We are so over. Do not ever come in front of me. I Hate you.(This was not said but was just obvious!). These were the last words he heard from his most beloved soulmate. She could not take it that her partner had many girl-friends( not gfs! ) with whom he talked rather chatted quite often and sometimes used to discuss his relationship too. All his mistake, which he admitted too, was sometimes there were fun talks too. Which she proudly named as Flirting!
"At least give me a chance to speak! At least just pick up the phone baby! I want to talk to you. Please?" He kept saying this but there was no reply. Maybe she had decided to break the bridge which had been in place for 18 long months. Just because he had those friends? Or because they were girls? Or because there was so called flirting? Or just let me turn the pointer towards the relationship. Was there Trust? Faith? Enough Love? Support? These questions were to be answered from both sides.
It is well said that "Assumptions are the termites of relationships." She assumed that he considered her just another girl and was playing with her feelings. She knew that she was the first girl he ever loved and the last one also, but it is well known that anger makes you a devil in these situations! On the other side he was so sure that she loved him. She didn't know how much somebody wanted her, how much somebody needed her. She was so uninformed. HE LOVED HER! All mistakes can be forgiven if there is unmounted love and faith. Was this such a big one that she threw him away, without even letting him speak?
She felt cheated. She felt heart-broken. She hates him. But in his heart he knows that she still wants him. He wants me to tell her that He loves her, really! And is sorry for every single mistake he has done. He never ever meant to hurt her. She was, is and will be the most important woman in her life. He wants her to come back and be his support once again. They all are just friends. All that matters to him is you, Akriti!
I am left contemplating 'Is love enough for a serious and life-long relationship?' Or it requires Trust, Understanding and Support with it to make everything work? Considering the power of Trust, I will just say that Trust is much more valued than Love. With Trust comes Love.
Tears rolling down his eyes, he remembers these positive lines:
"When you want it the most there's no easy way out
When you're ready to go and your heart's left in doubt
Don't give up on your faith
Love comes to those who believe it
And that's the way it is"
When you're ready to go and your heart's left in doubt
Don't give up on your faith
Love comes to those who believe it
And that's the way it is"
Remembering this he thinks about the beautiful times they spent together. A smile flows through his lips. A sad, deep and hopeful smile. But he has Faith in his Love and his Lord.
